I always like throwing an unexpected hint of bright colors to my getup. Wearing my favorite denim jacket on top of a black button down, wore my dark blue pants and my gasgas boots. It looks good but it doesn’t really say anything.
So what I did is I tried to throw a pinch of orange just because I knew blue and orange goes together. Back in grade school, I never knew what the color wheel was for and how it will help me in the future, but I do love making them. Now that I’m taking multi-media arts, I realized how everything in my world now revolves around colors. Like they say, If you love someone, set them free. If they come back they’re yours; if they don’t they never were. hahaha
Go back to the basics and study the color wheel and know which color goes well with another!
P.S. I changed my hairstyle if you did noticed. They call it the “Good Boy” hair. I decided to make a partition so I don’t look like a mafia with my slicked back style haha
Denim Jacket FOREVER 21, Black button down DIY
I did one clever thing Jeff Bascon, creative director of Oxygen and ForMe, taught me. I put a bright colored tape, an orange tape in this case, on the tongue of my shoes. Pretty wise thing to do since you can easily peel it off and replace it with another color depending on the dominant color of your getup.
I have these sets of colors. You can buy high quality colored tapes at National Bookstore!
